I guess nobody wanted to follow BVD's lead. The only person to posted their picks on the sphere had a great night finishing tied for 36th place overall.
Outstanding work as BVD smoked the rest of us. Keep it up BVD.
The good news is everybody who returned my friend request's made it through the first night. I will remind some of you again, go to the "my friends" section and approve friend status so I can post the results. Or keep it secret and make me look through 3383 entries..........not, so please check it again. I need Mark11's approval.

I went with JKmusicofthenite who finished out of the money...Anvilanunoit who was 2nd and Drop Red who finished a disappointing 3rd after being used very hard in that 2nd and 3rd quarters |

Yes, some of us have dug a big hole, but not one we can't get out of Laag. Luvs, your name is coming up "new user". Know why???
My sources tell me 705 contestants lost their first horseshoe already, none of us I hope. I went with the Miller upset in the last leg, figures.

No I see alot of new users tho. And I couldn't come up with Scarlet McZara if I re handicapped that race 10 times.
I used JK as well. He never seen the rail and just didn't look right at all even pacing down the backside. I had the winners in the next 2 legs tho. I see now its not just about winners. Its about mutual payoffs. I didn;t really read the rules to good I just dove in head first. |

It seems GB will get a lot of votes in the next few days. Good luck to all as we try to catch BVD, who continues to give his picks out. Interesting strategy.
Speaking of strategy, a friend asked me about Past Performances, if you care to look, they are located in the left hand corner of the race selection page for
each race. It might be better to guess
 . Three
days worth of selections are now available.
For those who thought Ronny was driving tonight, he has a date with Well Said at Chester. Last year's BC winner.

Good start to the night so far as the 6 wins race 4...At least I know I'll end with more money and keep my horseshoe for the night.
Going to be interesting to see how my other choices do tonight...Hoping I have the hang on the way to go about this in terms of trying to win. Have the 4 in the next survival race and the 3 in the following (races 7 & 8). |

Good question Laag, the Michigan connection is the only reason, not on what is on paper. Results were only through the second leg, I know Othello saved a shoe
tonight. I never did like the slop!!!

These slop races with horses coming in for $60 payoffs better not immensely reward the people who wre dumb (smart?) enough to pick them...Hopefully over the
long run this won't matter and better handicapping will prevail over these lucky hits.

The result are in as posted above. The youngsters whopped us......for shame. There's always a new day.
534 got eliminated.....WOW! There is hope. BVD still leads by $42.80 over Luvs. BVD is 88th overall....hang in there. Still waiting for mark11......
