I did get eliminated. Mid week is the worst time for me. I ussually spend saturday afternoons watching replays. Sorry I blew it. But I made it to milestone #2
on my job. LOL life goes on.

First off, we lost our youngest contestant last night, Mainely Pace, combined with the confirmation of Luv's, we now have two out of our competition. Come
back and join us for the next contest fella's. The second place contestant overall is OUT also, so don't feel
to bad.
The total eliminated grew to 1377 with 1997 still eligible. Last night was the biggest spread to date from the haves to the have not's. Congrats to the two that had a good night. The rest of us lagged far behind and feeling good that they didn't lose a shoe besides Mainely. I have to announce a new leader as BVD faltered like many of us did. The new leader is......mark11, of whom I found again, thanks. Here is the completed rundown as of Day 5: mark11............$143.10.................74th overall.........Great job after week one. This Wednesdays card is is the toughest yet Races 2--5--9 (for contest). Just got the program 2nd is a 10K claiming pace. 5th is a F&M 3-4 yo nw-2 or
NW13kLT Trot. 9th is a NW 4K L6. . Preliminary picks I like Jim Meittinis to win 2 (OUCH) and Dave Miller to win the other. Upon further review I like
The Orange Crush 4---3---7. Last minute change #9 in the 9th. I went back to the program and on the cond.Nw of 60k in 2008-2009 #9 has earning of 59,657. I found that interesting and worth a bet. Good Luck to all.

The second week starts with a bang as we lose two shoes. Both bobbyt and Mikelrob are now barefoot. I now have some more company. They must be getting the
bugs worked out as that was the quick I had ever gotten the results. Congrats to mark11 who hit for the cycle tonight. In the grand scheme of things:

The strongest get stronger, I am beginning to see a trend. Mikelrob gets the cycle tonight. Some people are lucky to be alive. Everybody made it through to
live another day, congrats. All I know is, the closers had better start picking up some cover or go first over. Here are the
overall results of Day 7:
W: mark11............$204.50........Double century mark and 21st overall.....Outstanding! P: BVd..................$174.20........80th overall S: Mikelrob...........$139.30........282nd.........The leaders won't take a break for Mikelrob. I must mention that the slop didn't get me, close though and I was robbed in 8th, Marohn Jr. could have cost me my life. Was the best if not locked til too late. On to Friday, let's hope for some sunshine. Besta luck everybody. |

I am worried that some of my spherester's are not having a good time with the Sweepstakes. No trash talking, near miss experiences, just plugging along
with a few exceptions. I guess as long as you have your eye on the prize, that's all that matters. The fact that we have two spheresters in the top 100
makes me very proud. Keep up the good work, I don't want to jinx anybody
 .

I don't know what happened to my first rundown, bad sphere, so this is going to be brief. Our leader took the collar tonight but held on to the overall
lead, barely. Mark11 joins Laag, Last, bobbyt, and Mikelrob. Only two have something on, BVd and homey.
The overall standings are as follows for Day 8: W: mark11......$204.50 P: BVd............$4.10 behind S: Mikelrob......$28.80 behind I missed your gig homey, when do you work next? More complete standings tomorrow since this edition got trashed the first time. Besta luck tomorrow.

On a very interesting night of racing, kudos go out to homey for her first "win" of the meet. Everybody survived another week which is always good.
Not much else to say except continued success everybody. Here is the overall standings for the sweepstakes, week 2:
mark11............$219.90............43rd overall and hangs on to the lead. BVD................$211.40.............65th and still in the catbird seat. Mikelrob..........$186.70............186th....no change in top three after second week.........hummm.
