Is anyone surprised that Jody Jamieson, arguably Canada's best driver, only has 4 drives on a 13 race card tomorrow at M1? He's in to drive Dali in the Haughton Prep. I would have thought he'd have a few more drives than that. I look at the 13th race and see guys like Luke McCarthy, Jackie MacLeod, and Jack Baggitt Jr with drives. Did a few trainers miss the boat?

He may SEEM average at best outside Canada because he's obviously not going to unseat the regulars such as Tetrick, Sears, the Millers, Campbell, Pierce
from their regular drives. I'm saying given a choice I'd take Jamieson over Luke McCarthy, Jackie McLeod, or Jack Baggitt Jr any day

Trainers will stick with drivers readilly available to them week in week out. It is all about building relationships. In most cases, someone shipping in for
one day is not going to get picked up on overnights unless it is a trainer from their own racetrack.

Seeing as though nothing he had was live. 13-1 was his lowest odds, he picked up 2 checks and has his name in the limelight. I think he did very good.
